Can you feel it?

Here in Michigan the seasons are turning. The cold winter is giving way to the first breaths of spring. Trees are budding. Birds are setting up housekeeping. Soon the peepers will be calling in the marshes. If you haven't yet, take in a sunrise this spring. Seriously! After a long, dismal winter nothing will tug at your soul like the gift of a spring sunrise. And right after you witness the birth of another glorious day in your life, close your eyes. Reach out with your senses and feel it. Hear it. Smell it. You will be glad you did.

So what is the author doing these days? Well, I am still visiting Erehwon and scribbling down everything that is happening, of course. But, I am also a farmer, so I am spending most of my daylight hours planting seeds and blending soils for our crops. It looks like we will have more than fifty types of tomatoes at our stand this year, mostly heirloom, in addition to a wide selection of culinary herbs, vegetables, and antique flowers. I'm also taking in orders from community gardens, to whom we donate a selection of flats to help feed our neighbors. In both of our family businesses we always try to do a little extra to help our community. It's not about us. As in my writing, I try to bring about positive change for as many people as I can. My whole family also volunteers at food pantries and works with our neighbors. It isn't about us. It's about what we can do, any of us, every day, to make the world a little better place.

But, I'm certain you came here to see book-stuff, too. So, on that note, my first two novels should be available on IngramSpark, as well as Amazon very soon. The technical issues we have had to overcome have been legion as we work toward getting the Erehwon series available to a wider, potentially global market. With the printing at Ingram Erehwon will be able to make its way into stores, libraries, schools, and bookstores with greater ease. When that becomes a reality I will be upping my promotion work and signing tours. I can't wait for the days ahead when I can start meeting the visitors to Erehwon face to face. Thank you for supporting me and remember to "share" my stories online, on social media, in reviews, and in your community. Thank you!
